TREATED IN DULUTH, GA (NORTH OF ATLANTA) AT GEORGIA EYE PHYSICIANS & SURGEONS
Depending on the presence of certain eye conditions and the reason for your visit, Dr. Segal may request external eye photographs to be taken for your medical records. Using a quick shot taken with a high-resolution digital camera, Dr. Segal will direct his team to document any eye lesions or structural abnormalities of the eye area requiring treatment. Dr. Segal and other members of your Georgia Eye Physicians and Surgeons care team may also use external ophthalmic photos to gauge the progression of skin conditions affecting the eye area such as eyelid lesions, rosacea or blepharitis as part of a comprehensive eye exam. If you’re having a cosmetic eye procedure performed at our practice such as blepharoplasty (eyelid surgery) you can expect Dr. Segal to take external photos of your eyes during your pre-operative visit and post-operative result photos for your records.
